http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=535846 Summary: Package management seems somewhat unstable Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 5 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: john.m.pemberton@sbcglobal.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090730 SUSE/3.5.2-2.4 Firefox/3.5.2 New install selected, from images, choosing KDE. After installation, rarely, but sometimes, yast will tell me that every single package available is installed, which is not an accurate representation of the state of the system, in this case. Sometimes it will show me what's actually installed, a small subset of all that's available. It seems intermittent. However I believe that I've only seen it happen in a yast session during which at some point, I made use of the "Patterns" view. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: I realize it may be hard to reproduce, But since it happened, and I've seen other package management issues, I thought I better mention it. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
