we lost sight of it.
SG_SCSI_RESET seems to be the only command requiring root privileges that is called from libscg/scsi-linux-sg.c.
we could perhaps talk with the upstream developers to get that allowed or at least find the reasoining why they block it.
This is wrong. There are a lot more things that need root privileges. I did already explain why cdrtools need root privileges (because Suse currently does not seem to offer a different way of gaining the needed privileges).
