Is this still the result? If so, you must have written *THIS*. It's damn important. It implies that your system is severely broken. Not only about sound. Try to re-install the latest update kernel like: zypper in -f kernel-desktop Does this show any error? If this succeeds without any error, reboot. Then retest the sound. If the sound still doesn't appear, try again "modprobe snd-hda-intel".
