https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=336223 Summary: Unable to produce working xorg.conf with Dual Head Xinerama on Matrox G550 Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: robi@hispeed.ch QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: Customer Created an attachment (id=180151) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=180151) 10.3 xorg.conf (not working) Hello all, I am unable to produce a xorg.conf that works with Dual Head Xinerama support on a Matrox G550 configuration. I've tried with sax2 and manually editing xorg.conf. No success. All I get is the second monitor being a clone of the first one (I'm no X11 expert though). The HW is ok since Opensuse 10.2 worked like a charm in this configuration. Some observations: - I get the wide screen resolution like I would expect. However, both monitors show exactly the same and 'slide' across the too wide resolution - I even tried to use the working 10.2 xorg.conf, but all I get is the above mentioned screen clone. I've attached the non working xorg.conf from 10.3. As mentioned, both configurations have been run on the very same hardware.
