You can set it in the boot prompt: ZYPP_FULLLOG=1
.. and see the installation crashing because the RAM (1 GB!) is full ;-) Well, IIRC there's already a bugreport open that asks for compressing rotated YaST logs...
The simplier way is using the menue entry in the single package selection.
This was what I did in the second try ;-) Unfortunately, this bug isn't fixed in beta2 - when updating (again from 10.1) I selected agrep and tuxeyes for not being deleted in update options / patterns / detail view. After confirming my changes, the proposal was re-evaluated as usual. In the package view I found both agrep and tuxeyes marked as to be deleted again :-( I again removed the deletion mark and run the dependency check. Results: - agrep finally kept its "keep" state - tuxeyes was marked for deletion again. I had to set it to "protected" My guess is that this is somehow related to the "delete old packages" in the update options which I left switched on. I have saved solver testcases from different stages of the installation: - after entering the pattern detail view (without any changes) - before confirming the changes in pattern detail view (with all changes done) - after entering the package manager (without any changes) - before confirming the changes in the package manager (aka "the very end") Including the y2logs, each of these files is > 10 MB. Which one(s) are you interested in? (I'll upload them to my homepage because they are too large for bugzilla.) PS: The good thing is: several other changes (including resolving conflicts, adding and removing packages) I did in the pattern detail view were kept. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
