Just for verification I have used the build 0654 media for re-installation on
the same hardware as above. It installed as expected.
linux-junu:~ # mount
/dev/mapper/nvidia_iaahfbee_part5 on / type ext4 (rw,acl,user_xattr)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw)
debugfs on /sys/kernel/debug type debugfs (rw)
devtmpfs on /dev type devtmpfs (rw,mode=0755)
tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw,mode=1777)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,mode=0620,gid=5)
/dev/sda6 on /boot type ext3 (rw,acl,user_xattr)
/dev/mapper/nvidia_iaahfbee_part1 on /home type ext3 (rw)
securityfs on /sys/kernel/security type securityfs (rw)
none on /proc/fs/vmblock/mountPoint type vmblock (rw)
linux-junu:~ # cat /etc/SuSE-release
openSUSE 11.3 Milestone 7 (x86_64)
VERSION = 11.3
linux-junu:~ # rpm -q | grep device
rpm: no arguments given for query
linux-junu:~ # rpm -qa | grep device
libimobiledevice1-1.0.1-1.1.x86_64
device-mapper-1.02.42-4.1.x86_64
linux-junu:~ # rpm -qa | grep lvm
lvm2-2.02.58-4.1.x86_64
This is the second (sucssefull) time I am using this version for installation.
The previous installation has survived several upgrades until the July 1 st
upgrade, which left it unbootable.
