https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=219196 Summary: Add To Favorites moves the item instead of linking/copying it Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 1 Platform: 64bit OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: amantia@kde.org QAContact: qa@suse.de In the new SUSE menu if you chose Add To Favorites for an application (or D&D it), it will be moved there, so it is removed from under Applications (actually this is visible only after close/open of the menu). The problem with this are: 1) the menu name doesn't suggest a move 2) moving means that the menu suddenly changes and items won't be anymore where they used to be 3) editing the item is not possible in Favorties, so a "Remove", "Edit", "Add" is needed. But I think 2) is the most important: add should only add (a link) as Favorites is only a bookmark, a quick way to access some items from the menu while not modifying the menu structure itself. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
