https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=463031 Summary: pasuspender doesn't work as expected Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: 64bit OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Sound AssignedTo: rodrigo@novell.com ReportedBy: fedev@gmx.net QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: tiwai@novell.com Found By: Community User While trying to use Audacity (and skype) I followed PulseAudio's PerfectSetup instructions where they suggest to use the following command to run Audacity: pasuspender -- audacity <argument> Instead of getting the expected result I get: pasuspender -- audacity Failure to suspend: Invalid argument then I tried: pasuspender -s pulseaudio -- audacity Connection failure: Connection refused same if I used "pulseaudio" (quotes included). Sound works on all applications, recording works except on skype (and audacity). Killing pulseaudio makes everything work of course. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
