In both cases during install after the first reboot to disk, the following messages appear: 5 logical volume(s) found in group "g1" now active resume device not found waiting for device /dev/g1/suse111 to appear: ok node name not found invalid root filesystem exiting to /bin/sh Install stops and you can enter a few commands t the $ prompt.
