I hav a new ASUS MB with onboard a NVIDIA network chip running with forcedeth module. For one or other reason the MAC address is wrong and a random MAC address is generated. My PC also generates increasing numbers ethx at start up. And avery time a new rule is added to /etc/udev/rules.d/30-net_persitent_names.rule. How can I avoid this? I don't knowe wher to look at.
