--- Comment #5 from Joachim Reichelt 2010-02-28 16:16:53 UTC ---
A small test showed:
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
debugfs /sys/kernel/debug debugfs noauto 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs auto 0 0
and:
Joachim-PC:~ # ls /proc/bus/usb/
Joachim-PC:~ # mount -a
Joachim-PC:~ # ls /proc/bus/usb/
001 002 003 004 005 devices
which must not happen.
All drivers depending on /proc/bus/usb will not work!
Is this the same as in:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/173122
or
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/156085/comments/6
I know, that the latest driver from NVIDIA need this for stereo support:
ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/195.36.08 :
10 NVIDIA 3D Vision mode for use with NVIDIA 3D
Vision glasses. The NVIDIA 3D Vision infrared
emitter must be connected to a USB port of your
computer, and to the 3-pin DIN connector of a
Quadro graphics board (based on G8xGL or higher
GPU) before starting the X server. Hot-plugging
the USB infrared stereo emitter is not yet
supported. Also, 3D Vision Stereo Linux support
requires a Linux kernel built with USB device
filesystem (usbfs) and USB 2.0 support.
