Since sax2 was removed, I have no way to change system monitor resolution from UI. It is possible to change with KDE4 native utility Personal Settings/Display and Monitor, but it only works for user desktop - when I reboot system to kdm, kdm is shown with 640x480. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Personal Settings/Display and Monitor and change monitor resolution to some non-default value 2. Apply changes and make sure resolution is changed for desktop 3. Reboot system to KDM and check the resolution Actual Results: see that kdm is shown default system resolution, but not the one set with KDE4 monitor configuration utility. Expected Results: KDM should be shown in the resolution set with graphical utility.
