Yes - I did reboot several times. Always verified with Sax and Yast that DPMS
is disabled. But with xset it tells me that DPMS is enabled.
In xorg.conf in the monitor section I put DPMS to off and reboot - does not
help.
In 10.1 (another PC so I can test in parallel) it works.
A manual
xset -dpms
works fine.
I tried to put
xset -display 127.0.0.1:0.0 -dpms
to boot.local and to crontab but then it produces an error that it cant find
the display.
Maybe its related:
With kcontrol in the Peripherals->Display setting the tabs for "Size &
Orientation" and "Monitor Gamma" are blank - there is an error message which I
have to check again today evening. But when changing the "Power Control"
settings (DPMS off) there are no erros - so I thought its not related.
