https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=694203 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=694203#c0 Summary: xfce ignores at least locale and profile.d aliases Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Xfce AssignedTo: bnc-team-xfce@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jslaby@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I have DEFAULT_WM="xfce" in /etc/sysconfig/windowmanager. I use gdm as DM. But no aliases from /etc/profile.d are set, nor locale. In /etc/sysconfig/language I have: RC_LANG="cs_CZ.UTF-8" but locale in xterm in xfce says: LANG= LC_CTYPE="POSIX" LC_NUMERIC="POSIX" LC_TIME="POSIX" LC_COLLATE="POSIX" LC_MONETARY="POSIX" LC_MESSAGES="POSIX" LC_PAPER="POSIX" LC_NAME="POSIX" LC_ADDRESS="POSIX" LC_TELEPHONE="POSIX" LC_MEASUREMENT="POSIX" LC_IDENTIFICATION="POSIX" LC_ALL= and everything is in english. In /etc/profile.d/slaby.sh I have: alias osci='osc -A https://api.suse.de' but osci is not aliased in xterm. This works with login on a real console.
