Have an external hard disk connected through pcmcia esata adapter card and the device appears as /dev/sdc. Then /dev/sdc11 is mounted on /media/sdc11. While using this mount point ( eg: a virtual machine ), insert a sd card in the built-in sd card reader of the laptop. Suddenly /media/sdc11 is in accessible. And the sd card gets the device mapping of /dev/sdc and the partition /dev/sdc1 is mounted as /media/disk. Also the esata disk now mapped as /dev/sdb.
You mean the device names change while the devices are in use? Or dos that happen after a reboot? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
