If I do 'watch -n1 cat /proc/interrupts' I see the same number of timer
interrupts fired per second as with powertop. Before suspend it is about 300,
after suspend it is about 3000.
Setting different clocksources makes no difference except that clocksource
'jiffies' locked up the system.
# cat /sys/devices/system/clocksource/clocksource0/available_clocksource
hpet acpi_pm jiffies tsc
What about the executeable called "s2ram"? Please take a look at the first
powertop output (which was taken after the suspend). There is a line contaning
the word "s2ram". In the second powertop output (which was taken before the
suspend) no such line exists.
