I should have closed this bug report as soon as I fixed the issue in
NetworkManager (comment #7), it has become a generic "CDMA doesn't work for me"
and as such, it'll now be open forever (as there's always a (new) CDMA card
that doesn't work with NM (yet)). So please, don't add a "it doesn't work for
me too" comment here anymore, open a new bug and attach the log files there.
Comments #41 and #42:
It's Samsung's fault: they use the same usb vendor and product ids for Samsung
SGH-A707 (GSM) and A670 (CDMA) and most likely for others as well. If you
insist on getting this bug worked around somehow, please open a bug for HAL as
it's HAL that tags modems, from the lshal output from comment #42:
udi = '/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/usb_device_4e8_6601___if0_serial_unknown_0'
modem.command_sets = {'GSM-07.07', 'GSM-07.05', 'V.250'} (string list)
Comments #16 and #43:
I can not diagnose your problem when you simply state "it does not work for
me". It also doesn't help that it works with other distros or tools. Please
follow my comment #32 and attach the information.
