Please try "hciconfig -a". It should show something like this:
hciconfig -a reports nothing.
Also, check the lsusb output if there is a BT dongle (i doubt there is):
I was probably being confusing - I *also* have a BT USB dongle, I plugged that in to confirm there where no higher level problems with the bt stack. Without that plugged in lsusb of course shows nothing.
If there is none, some fiddling around with the thinkpad_acpi kernel module might be necessary - it is pretty broken right now AFAIU :-( Check if you still have a /proc/acpi/ibm/bluetooth entry and if something happens if you echo stuff in there (my X32 has no builtin bluetooth, so i cannot really advise what to do with that interface, but we will work it out :-)
So, the file does exist and is set to disabled by default: jpr@gambit:~> more /proc/acpi/ibm/bluetooth status: disabled commands: enable, disable Echoing enable into the file turns it on! Any idea why thats the default? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
