https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=760072 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=760072#c0 Summary: yast2 iscsi client - fields for username and password have wrong lengths Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: per@opensuse.org QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686 on x86_64; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0 iscsi-client module: the fields for entering CHAP userid and password are really not the right lengths - username is about 90% of the length leaving 10% for password. I suggest a more appropriate split would be 30/60. Also, I don't think it is useful to have a password type entry field with '*' instead of characters. The password is visible in cleartext everywhere else. I'll have a look at fixing this myself, nobody else seems to be doing much iscsi work.
