--- Comment #18 from Felix Miata
When I change 'hinting style: full' to: 'hinting style: None' Then the underscores become visible.
What about with slight? and medum? Among the four choices, do you have a preference? What about changing the sub-pixel rendering to any of the other options? Can you try using analog ports instead of digital to see if it makes any difference? (In reply to comment #16)
The displays I am using are: - Philips 180P2 - Dell 1907FP
I have no exact matches. My only 1280x1024 in 19" is a Samsung 914V. My only 1280x1024 Dell is 17". Everything else except my Vizio TV that I can't rotate 90 has higher physical pixel density. I do opine what you see is likely to be difficult to reproduce except at lower than 96 ppi physical screen density. Asking elsewhere may be the best thing to do, support for e.g. Nvidia support or fontconfig mailing list, to see if you can find anyone who can reproduce outside of openSUSE users or devs. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
