https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=332511 Summary: SaX2 fails to detect second graphics card Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: david.holm@zetadisplay.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I have two graphics cards in my computer. One is a builtin SiS which is worthless, the other an nVidia GeForce 4 MX on the PCI bus which is what I use daily. I cannot disable the SiS via the BIOS only change the initialization order so it detects the adapter on the PCI bus first (SiS is on the AGP bus). SaX2 refuses to detect or use the nVidia. I only get one option in SaX2 which is the SiS adapter. I have tried passing it different options, like forcing it to only detect one chip etc, but it always goes with the SiS. I had to manually edit xorg.conf and set driver to "nvidia" but now the one-click compiz installs isn't setting up compiz correctly even though direct rendering is enabled and working. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
