http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=906192 Bug ID: 906192 Summary: CTRL-ALT_DEL escape sequence doesn't work if DE is frozen Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: roger.luedecke@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- CTRL-ALT-DEL is tied to bringing up the prompt to shutdown or restart in DE (GNOME in my case). This escape sequence is really only needed in the case that the DE freezes, in which case this prompt will not show. CTRL-ALT-DEL should be tied to sending a signal to restart the DE, such as 'gnome-shell --replace'. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
