There seem to be different unrelated problems.
Alexander sees too much keyboard/USB interrupts, while bug 387207 is about ACPI
interrupts. Those should be rather unrelated.
Alexander: I expect you have an USB keyboard? Are things better with an PS2
one?
If not you can unload ehci_hcd and uhci_hcd, then things should calm down?
bug 404245 may also have some reason why it is running that hot, but the real
bug is about the critical shutdown, because the temperature is not polled. ACPI
has to lower the frequency before shuting down. This one is as good as solved.
This bug is about keyboard/usb interrupt storm, please do not add unrelated
info if you are not seeing this (there are just a way too much "higher power
consumption" bugs open with different cause which is getting really confusing):
Alexander, if you do:
watch -n1 cat /proc/interrupts
uhci_hcd/ehci_hcd and keyboard interrupts are increasing quickly?
If yes how much are there per second can you provide output of:
cat /proc/interrupts;sleep 10;cat /proc/interrupts
