It was detected correctly, everything was set up nicely, package for this card was installed, even loading module was done automatically. So far -- just great. But wifi didn't work thought. So I had to google on _another_ computer to find out the last step -- downloading firmware for that card. So I unplug this computer, plugged in the new one, type one command, waited 3 seconds, and voila, wifi worked. You can say it was easy, yes it was -- but note, I had to use the second computer (it is not that usual to have two computers for my use) OR I had to know in advance what to do and have access (cable) to the net. Again, not so usual. WISH: ==== It would be great to add some wizard (to KDE, knetworkmanager?) that detects missing configuration/firmware and then kicks in and suggest what user has to do manually to finish setting properly his/her wifi card.
