Seems that my sound card (a Creative Labs Audigy 2) is correctly detected during setup and in Yast but I can't have any sound in KDE. Yast display 2 sound cards and I have set my SB0090 Audigy/Player OEM as the default (I have 2 sound cards because my computer runs on a ASUS A7n8x with an nforce 21 chipset). If I try to play a sound - Configure Desktop / Sound & Multimedia / Sound system / Test sound That does not work and I have tries every combination of audio device (autodetect, open sound system, advanced linux sound architecture, etc) - Also tried another application like Amarock, same thing - The mixer show nothing but a red cross on the taskbar icon. In fact, it was even not started at my first login after the initial setup. If I open it I cannot choose an mixer (the list seems to contain nothing) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
