https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=334645 Summary: Kiwi: config-cdroot.tgz gets included twice Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: System Imaging AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: Peter.Stark@fujitsu-siemens.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Hi, I wanted to put a (large) Tarball onto the live-CD media, but not onto the RO/RW images. I plan to extract the Tarball when the live-system is up and running (into a separate RAM-Disk). I used the "config-cdroot.tgz" mechanism (which I thought is *the* way to do it) and included my Tarball into the config-cdroot.tgz file. After building the CD/DVD my file is found on in the ISO-Image (fine), but also in the RW-area, meaning it occupies *twice* the space (in my case 2*3GB). This is not what I expected. However, I may have misinterpreted the use for the "config-cdroot.tgz" file. regards, Peter -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
