Hmmm... nothing really stands out. The drive is configured udma/100 correctly
and doesn't suffer any IO error afterwards and thus stays at udma/100. Copy
speed of 7MiB/s on the same disk on 4200RPM disk isn't too bad considering the
slow seek time of those disks and constant seek involved in copying files on
the same disk.
Disks get progressively slow as it gets to the aft part and added to that
filesystem gets slower as the disk fills up as the fs gets forced to fragment
files more and more. How full is the filesystem?
