The ipw2200 module was loaded automatically but it could not work since the ipwfirmware package was not available. I started yast2 -i, pressed accept and no package was installed. I expected that the ipwfirmware would be installed automatically. According to Thorsten this should work - but did not. I had to manually select and install the package.
