https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=410720 Summary: Copying to VFAT partition on CF-Disk: Very unstable. Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Alpha 0 Platform: 64bit OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: monkey9@iae.nl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer I am trying to find the right os.img to be able to boot linux on my psion netBook. Herefore i must copy and rename different files. When i do that, the files become invisible. If i want to copy again, i am ask to renam or overwrite. No matter what i choose, the files are invisible. They are also invisible for the psion i need them for. After a while i can not write to the disk anymore, and according to the free space, there must be written to the disk. Most time, i am only able to write to the CF-Disk with root. After i get to windows to format the disk (this partitioner only has FAT32), i am able to write one time to the disk. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
