Sorry, but this is not a bazar, I don't care what privileges you
give to "wodim" - it does not work anyway... the correct set of
fine grained privileges to get fully functional cdtrtools
is documented in the code.
As you did not read the code, let me repeat the Solaris privileges:
cdrecord:
PRIV_FILE_DAC_READ
PRIV_PROC_LOCK_MEMORY
PRIV_PROC_PRIOCNTL
PRIV_NET_PRIVADDR
PRIV_SYS_DEVICES
cdda2wav:
PRIV_FILE_DAC_READ
PRIV_PROC_PRIOCNTL
PRIV_NET_PRIVADDR
PRIV_SYS_DEVICES
readcd:
PRIV_FILE_DAC_READ
PRIV_NET_PRIVADDR
PRIV_SYS_DEVICES
maybe that PRIV_SYS_DEVICES can be substituted by CAP_SYS_RAWIO on Linux.
The rest should be 1:1
...and as mentioned before: SuSe Linux does not permit to gain these
privileges without first becomming root.
As long as Linux doees not by default offer the infrastructure for
fine grained privilege management, it is obvious that we need to
install the named programs suid root.
If you like to change that, you are welcome! But this needs a bigger
change in Linux first.....
