--- Comment #22 from Stefan Seyfried 2014-03-25 17:54:51 CET ---
Well, it was called "cable" before, and that's because I booted with
net.ifnames=0
but the lines....
IMPORT builtin 'path_id' /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/80-net-setup-link.rules:5
IMPORT builtin 'net_setup_link'
/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/80-net-setup-link.rules:11
Config file /usr/lib/systemd/network/99-default.link applies to device cable
NAME 'enp0s25' /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/80-net-setup-link.rules:13
RUN '/usr/lib/systemd/systemd-sysctl --prefix=/proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/$name
--prefix=/proc/sys/net/ipv4/neigh/$name --prefix=/proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/$name
--prefix=/proc/sys/net/ipv6/neigh/$name'
/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/99-systemd.rules:55
changing net interface name from 'cable' to 'enp0s25'
error changing net interface name cable to enp0s25: Device or resource busy
unload module index
Unloaded link configuration context
This program is for debugging only, it does not run any program
specified by a RUN key. It may show incorrect results, because
some values may be different, or not available at a simulation run.
.. lead me to believe it wants to change the name to enp0s25, which is really
happening if I boot without net.ifnames=0
