From boot until the login screen, it is perfect. Soon after logging in the brightness reduces dramatically. It is very difficult to work with such a dark screen. Setting the brightness to maximum in the power profiles also did not help as the maximum brightness itself is too low. I am using 64 bit version of the Opensuse 11.4 final version in KDE mode. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Reboot 2. Wait until login screen screen appears and login as a user 3. When it loads your desktop, the brightness decreases dramatically Actual Results: The screen brightness becomes too low after logging in. It is very hard to work with such a dark screen. Expected Results: Brightness should not change after logging in.
