New version is in openSUSE:11.2:Contrib so either it should be removed from packman or updated to get qtoctave running. Octave also does not run as it cannot find liboctave.so, the file is installed in /usr/lib/octage-x.x.x/ so it probably requires /etc/ld.so.conf.d/octave.conf pointing to that location.
