http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=513652 Summary: No nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-default package for 2.6.27.21 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jnelson-suse@jamponi.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060200 SUSE/3.0.11-0.1.1 Firefox/3.0.11 While 2.6.27.23 exists and is available, it breaks suspend-to-ram for me. Thus, I have to run 2.6.27.21 which works well enough. However, nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-default is not available for 2.6.27.21 and zypper upgraded to the .23 version. After upgrading to the .23 version nvidia-settings is very crashy. Like "Detect Displays" and so on. I can't run the .23 kernel, and I don't know if it is nvidia-gfx-G02-kmp-default, x11-video-nvidiaG02, or what that is at fault but I also need nvidia-settings to work properly.
