I have this issue, too.
When I rotate the screen by 180° using command-line xrandr, the cursor
disappears.
It disappears when I run this command, too (it chooses another SW to handle
brightness adjustments):
xrandr --output LVDS --set BACKLIGHT_CONTROL native
Does this trigger the bug on your monitors, too? Or is this a different issue?
I have another workaround: open a konsole window, move your (invisible) cursor
on the typing area, and type something. When you move your mouse again, it will
have a visible cursor. If you rotate the screen again, you'll have to repeat
the workaround.
