It wasn't until today that it dawned on me that I had installed 11.4 earlier. I decided to do a fresh install of 12.1 beta1. I DID do a fresh install, however, by default I believe that the /home directory is left intact. So I wonder if perhaps by not reformatting home, may have caused this issue to rear it's ugly head. Just a thought.
