https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=715932 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=715932#c0 Summary: Left Mouse button intermittently ceases to work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Factory Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: simon@iscandar.demon.co.uk QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0 After an unpredicable amount of time, the left mouse button stops working; the mouse can still be moved. Rollover highlighting stops. Sometimes the condition recovers. Sometimes, it appears that focus is staying locked in a particular window, in that roll-overs and actions inside the window work, but a click outside doesn't change focus. Killing X fixes the problem (Control-Alt-backspace) - no surprise there. Happens under both Gnome and KDE, so I'm guessing Xorg I'd originally thought this to be due to a borked upgrade from 11.3, so I installed a clean copy of 11.4. Just as bad.
