Sorry for the late answer, was busy with a software rollout in the office
yesterday and did not have time to tinker with the notebook of my wife.
Just to make sure we are on the same page. The notebook is installed with Beta
4 (+ current patches). The problem happens during boot of the installed system
with IDE mode in BIOS set to enhanced.
The error messge during boot is
Could not find /dev/disk/by-id/ata-ST93320320AS-S5X0YORH-part3
Want me to fall back to /dev/disk/by-id/ata-ST93320320AS-S5X0YORH-part3 (Y/N)
Waiting for device /dev/disk/by-id/ata-ST93320320AS-S5X0YORH-part3 to appear
...
not found - exiting to /bin/sh
Checking in this shell session boot.msg is empty and dmesg and lspci are not
supported.
I do attach the output of lspci -nn here from the system when it is booted
sucessfully with IDE mode in BIOS set to compatible.
