--- Comment #11 from Stefan Dirsch
* edit /etc/ld.so.conf to add "/usr/lib64/fglrx/lib" at the begining. * then type as root #CODE #ldconfig #CODE This doesn't make sense because libGL.so.1 is installed to /usr/X11R6/lib64 if you use the RPMs. There shouldn't be a /usr/lib64/fglrx/lib at all! So obviously you still have some old driver files installed, which currently are messing up your system. This could also explain the failing Xserver start
(II) LoadModule: "dri" (II) Loading /usr/lib64/xorg/modules//extensions/libdri.so (II) Module dri: vendor="X.Org Foundation" compiled for 7.2.0, module version = 1.0.0 ABI class: X.Org Server Extension, version 0.3 (II) Loading extension XFree86-DRI /usr/sbin/xw: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/xorg/modules//extensions/libdri.so: undefined symbol: drmSetServerInfo So what's the output of "rpm -V xorg-x11-server"? I also need the complete /var/log/SaX.log and /var/log/Xorg.99.log. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
