--- Comment #13 from Pavol Polacek 2012-10-22 07:20:20 UTC ---
I seem to have the same issue, but I see a mystical pattern in my case. I had
it for a while, with openSUSE 12.1, 12.2, and kde 4.8, 4.9. Sometimes, my kde
network manager is waiting for authorization, and except logging off-on, there
is nothing I can do.
1. It works (successfull connection), if I:
a. turn on computer with wifi on, log in, write the password for kdewallet
after kde daemon ask for it. I need to be very swift and ignore other
applications asking for the password (chrome, kmail...)
2. Works sometimes, if I:
a. turn on computer with wifi off, log in, write the password for kde wallet
if asked by kmail, etc... Turn on wifi, kde daemon asks for password for
kdewalled, write password, connects...
b. suspend my laptop to hdd after doing 1.a. . After I turn the computer back
on, it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. If it does work, it connects
without any intervention from me. if it doesn't, it is waiting for
authorization indefinitely
3. Doesn't work, if I:
a. I turn computer on with wifi on, log in, and go get coffee. After I come
back and put in the password for kdewallet, it will wait for authorisation
indefinitely, even if I turn wifi off/on, put in password, etc. Log out and in
resolves the issue, but have to do 1.a. again
b. Put in the password, if some other application asks for it, before I put it
in for kde daemon
