Checking with ltrace now. It looks like it's hung in clntudp_create().
It does the address checking with a bunch of inet_pton calls and then moves on
to the clntudp_create call, which never completes.
1 clntudp_create(0xaddr, 10005, 1, 3,
1 SYS_socket(2, 2050, 17, 7681) = 11
1 SYS_open(0xaddr, 0, 438, 0xaddr> = -2
1 SYS_futex(0xaddr, 128, 2, 0 <hung>
The 0xaddrs don't matter yet since it's all in a shared libary anyway. I'll do
some more digging.
Perhaps someone involved with linuxrc development can shed some light on why
we're not just calling mount(8) with mount.nfs(8) installed instead of
essentially open coding it inside linuxrc.
