The only question is what version should be used. SLES 11 SP2 and SP3 have
2.0.873. openSUSE is currently at version 2.0.870, with patches.
Also problematic: looks like there are 32 patches. Once we update to a new
version as a base (such as 2.0.873), each one of these patches will potentially
need to be ported to the new code base. This may prove non-trivial for a few of
them.
Another point: should we upgrade to 2.0.873 as present in SLES, or
2.0.873+patches, as present in the public open-iscsi repository, or might Mike
Christie be coming out with a new version of open-iscsi soon, such that we
should wait for that new version?
