In the previous version (opensuse 10.2), everything was working fine. After updating to opensuse 10.3, the box locks up on boot. How to reproduce: * take the firmware files from http://acx100.sourceforge.net/wiki/Firmware (it does not matter whether you take the 1.2.1.34 or 1.2.0.30, the lock-up comes anyway) * if you make the directory /lib/firmware/ empty before rebooting, everything is fine (for the moment) * rmmod acx * copy firmware file to /lib/firmware/ * modprobe acx * wait about 10 seconds and the box is dead (two lights on the keyboard are blinking: scroll and caps-lock) * if you reboot now, you will have the same problem again, of course. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
