https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=222480 Summary: Dell P991 display settings missing from database Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 2 plus Platform: PC OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: mrmazda@ij.net QAContact: qa@suse.de While running X, sax2 -r selects generic VESA 800x600@60HZ. When I select Dell P991 (made by Sony) from the list, it preselects correctly 4:3 and incorrectly 15.0 inches. When I select the closest correct diagonal, 18.1 inches, it changes X to 368 and Y to 276. By my measurements, X should be 366 and Y should be 274. I've tested this display at up to 2048x1536. Appropriate settings for diagonal and X and Y should be added to the database. AFAICT, the predecessor P990 and successor P992 models would use these same settings. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
