I suspected the i915 regression, but Haswell is known to be stable. So I have
no clue yet what went wrong.
Could you try to set up kdump for catching the crash? You may try YaST2 kdump.
Better to give a bit more memory for kdump kernel than suggested there, as
YaST often gives too tight memory.
We don't necessarily need the whole dump but even a kernel stack trace at the
hang will be really helpful.
