hwinfo from affected system
the script is from other kernel bug reports I found in reference to kernel
2.6.x they suggested that the bug would be fixed in 2.6.30 but this is 2.6.31
and it's still here. those were ubuntu and other kernel bug reports.
it's not an OOPS. its a BUG !
the kernel messsage (As above supplied) is:
Feb 21 07:29:03 MYSERVER kernel: [424604.286100] BUG: unable to handle kernel
NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000002
Feb 21 07:29:03 MYSERVER kernel: [424604.286106] IP: [<ffffffff81322223>]
put_tty_queue+0x53/0xb0
Feb 21 07:29:03 MYSERVER kernel: [424604.286114] PGD 127556067 PUD 12d4ba067
PMD 0
tell me what info to supply and I'll get it.
keep in mind the system already rebooted - it was hard-locked, no way to get
data off of it.
/var/log/messages and /var/log/warn show the same information above
I think there are too many /dev/tty's - system shows 61 of them
