The variable AppDefDir is not defined any more. Therefore the define on the gcc-commandline "AppDefDir" is disfunctional. In contrast there should be a configure parameter that fixes this. See patch attached. Besides I increased the default number of samples as the default is too low, the startup message has been patched as well - use it or discard it.
