--- Comment #3 from Johannes Meixner 2010-05-06 09:00:21 UTC ---
On openSUSE 11.3 there should be the same possibilities
but now "CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.4" because in openSUSE 11.3
the RPM package gutenprint was upgraded from 5.0.2 to 5.2.4.
If you did not install openSUSE 11.3 from scratch
but when you did a system upgrade from 11.2 to 11.3
you should remove the old print queue(s) which use
the old Gutenprint v5.0.2 driver and re-setup them anew
using the same driver but now for Gutenprint v5.2.4.
Gutenprint provides a cups-genppdupdate tool to
regenerate the Gutenprint PPD files in use by CUPS
so that they match again to the upgraded Gutenprint
but I recommend to simply remove and re-setup the
whole print queue because this is the most fail-safe way.
If this does not help, please try out if it works
when you remove the gutenprint-5.2.4 package from openSUSE 11.3
and replace it with a gutenprint-5.0.2 package from openSUSE 11.2
and afterwards again remove and re-setup the print queue.
When this solves the issue, it indicates that
there is a regression bug in the Gutenprint driver.
