*RPM install *edit /etc/ld.so.conf to add "/usr/lib64/fglrx/lib" at the begining. *then type as root #CODE #ldconfig #CODE
So you obviously don't use the SUSE RPMs. This explains why SaX2 couldn't create a proper X configuration file. I suggest to try again with my HOWTO to see what is missing here. * download driver * run ati-driver-installer-8.40.4-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg SuSE/SUSE102-AMD64 * install the created RPM * compile kernel module as mentioned in HOWTO (if development tools were still missing this is not done in %post of RPM yet) * sax2 -r -m 0=fglrx [ There's no need to try to enable 3D support via SaX2. It's already enabled automatically when SaX2 is starting. ] So what does not work when you use these steps? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
