JFYI: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/matematic/openSUSE_103/
has working rpms for you.
he uses the following patch:

# we will probably begin to build against a system libtorrent, but at the
# moment, we are including the source code to make packaging on Debian and
# Ubuntu possible.
-if boosttype == "nomt":
+if True:
librariestype = ['boost_filesystem', 'boost_date_time',
- 'boost_thread', 'z', 'pthread', 'ssl']
+ 'boost_thread-mt', 'z', 'pthread', 'ssl']
print 'Libraries nomt'
elif boosttype == "mt":
librariestype = ['boost_filesystem-mt', 'boost_date_time-mt',
]]]
fixing the grep line above wont help in the buildservice as there is no
/etc/issue. i already told the author of deluge that this kind of check is
error prone and should be improved. so the whole boost update was totally
unneeded.
